brain function collapseRedraw exploration
I recently learned about redraw from this tweet by William Candillon. It reads like WebGL and SVG had a baby and React blessed it — an interesting piece of tech, and this page is my space for exploring it. One artboard, a few verbs, nothing beyond that.

What I want out of an exploration is never only whether the tech works. Here the question was pen-down without the press: hold ⌥ and simply move, and the line follows. Click-and-drag asks the drawing hand to hold a button down while it draws, and that small constant force is the difference between the line you meant and the line you fought for — so the other hand takes the verb, and the hand doing the drawing has nothing left to do but move. The eraser works the same way, on E.
The rest is a loose notebook: interaction, colour, and what a renderer like this makes possible — inspired by redraw rather than about it, and I expect to keep adding to it. All of it needs WebGPU; without that, the bench plays a recording of itself instead.
